Chinese Taipei's Chang Jung-Lin wins the first Guinness 9 Ball Tour held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Bali, August 31 to September 2, 2007.For the title, Chang earns the top prize of US$36,000 as Asia's Pool King of 2007, a Guinness official said here today.In the grand final Chang was beaten Lee Vann Corteza from Philippines with a 11-8. The Filipino's runner up finished in the grand final earned him US$10,000.

 
Top snooker players joined to raise funds for a number of charities

The Chinese snooker star, Ding Junhui, yesterday joined top snooker players and other stars from film, sport, television and music at inter-dealer broker BGC’s 3rd Annual Charity Day to help raise funds for a number of charities including The Paul Hunter Foundation, which he represented. In the total, over US$6 million was raised for good causes on the day bringing the sum raised over three years to US$15 million.

 
30 snooker players traveled to North Wales as part of the Ireland group

Nenagh's Josh Burke is one of 30 snooker players who travel to North Wales this Friday as part of the Ireland group who will be competing in the 2007 Home Internationals. The 7 youngest group members were involved in a final practice session in Carlow last weekend before the week long event.
